Pictures rarely come out the way you intend, especially if you still have to learn a few things about camera settings. If you feel that your pictures could use more color or if they are under or over-exposed, then you should look for a specialized application and make the necessary adjustments. Movavi Photo Suite serves numerous purposes when it comes to pictures. You can use it to adjust or transform your pictures, apply various effects and much more. Additionally, the program places everything you need at your disposal, to create video slideshows, with custom effects and transitions.

Movavi Photo Suite is free to try, with some limitations. It is compatible with all popular Windows versions, including the recently released Windows 8. It takes about a minute to install the software and there is no need to make any complex settings along the way. Also, the hardware requirements are modest and you don't have to install any prerequisite tools.

The user interface presents a wide range of options, but everything is very well organized, so it won't take too long to master its controls. You can explore local folders and view your pictures, edit them and create video slideshows on separate tabs. While browsing through your photos, you can select various options, located on a toolbar, to print them or send them via email, transform or adjust the pictures and perform other actions.

After selecting a picture, you can switch to the editing tab to make a wide range of adjustments. The available tools are neatly categorized in a series of collapsible menus, on the left side of the interface. Certain tools will affect the image instantly, when selected, while others require some tweaking. Besides transforming and adjusting a picture, you can also apply and customize a large number of effects. 3D mosaic, oil paint, hand drawing or various texture overlays are just a few examples. Additionally, the software lets you frame the edited picture, use it to create a greeting card, apply images directly on the desktop or create games, like jigsaw puzzles.

Another useful feature is the possibility of creating video slideshows. You can add your pictures to a timeline, along with a soundtrack and make all sorts of settings, to individual clips or the entire slideshow. The customization options are presented on numbered tabs, so you can create and tweak your slideshow step-by-step.
